Yamunotri Dham – The home of Goddess Yamuna and named after River Yamuna, situated in the northern Himalayan region of Uttarakhand (Garhwal dist.). Yamunotri is considered one of the four sacred dham of Uttarakhand which was built in the 19th Century by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur.
Gangotri & Gaumukh Dham – The home of Goddess Ganga and named after River Ganga, also situated in the northern Himalayan region of Uttarakhand (Garhwal dist.). It is also considered one of the four sacred dham of Uttarakhand. Around 100 yards from Gangotri Temple this river meets the Bagirathi on its left bank which is called Kedar Ganga Sangam. Submerged in the river, this natural rock Shivlinga is the place where Lord Shiva sat when he received the Ganga in his matted lock when Ganga river was brought from the heaven to earth in order to relieve the earthlings of their sins.

Itinerary
Day 1Delhi – Haridwar (210 kms/5-6 hour’s drive)
Upon arrival in Delhi, welcome to the guests and proceed to Haridwar by road. Reach Haridwar and check-in at hotel. If time permits, enjoy sightseeing of Haridwar, visit to Chandi Devi, Mansa Devi, Daksha Mahadev Temple followed by “Har-Ki-Pauri” to see evening aarti of holy Ganges. Later back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2Haridwar – Barkot (220 kms/8-9 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Barkot. On the way visiting Kempty fall in Mussoorie (depend on time). Later continue to Barkot. On arrival check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3Full day excursion to Yamunotri Temple (36 kms drive & 07 km trek - one side)
After breakfast, proceed to Janki chatti from where trek starts for Yamunotri Temple (One can go by walk or by pony/horse at their own cost). Reach Yamunotri Temple and have a “Darshan” of pious “Yamunaji”. After “Puja” (Prayer) drive back to Barkot. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 kms/3-4 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit to Vishwanath Temple, Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar temple etc. After sightseeing back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5Uttarkashi – Gangotri (100 kms/3-4 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Gangotri Temple (Hight 3048 mts), on the way visiting picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. Reach Gangotri and check-in at hotel. Later visit to Gangotri Temple. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6Gangotri – Bhojbasa (13 kms trek/7-8 hours)
After breakfast, trek towards Bhujbas (Bhojbasa) via Chirbas. The trek route passes through deep dense forest Bhujbas of Himalayan coniferous and pine trees to arrive at Bhujbas. The main structure at Bhujbas is an ashram, which is served as a stopover point en route Gaumukh. Later check-in at GMVN Guest House. Dinner & overnight stay at GMVN Guest House (Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam).
Day 7Bhojbasa – Gaumukh – Bhojbasa (4 kms/ 2-3 hour’s trek - one side)
After breakfast, start trek to Gaumukh which is the main point from where the holy Ganges originates. A short and easy trek of an hour brings us to Gaumukh. After a Gaumukh Darshan return back to Bhujbas, Dinner & overnight stay at GMVN Guest House (Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam).
After breakfast, trek back to Gangotri and afterwards drive to Uttarkashi. Reach Uttarkashi and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9Uttarkashi – Rishikesh – Haridwar (175 kms/7-8 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Haridwar. On the way enjoy sightseeing of Rishikesh, visit to Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mata Temple, Shivananda Ashram and Swarg Ashram etc. After sightseeing continue to Haridwar. On arrival Check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10Haridwar – Delhi (210 kms/5-6 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Delhi. On arrival transfer the guests to Delhi Airport/Railway Station to board the flight/train for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain for forever……
